THE QUEEN IS IN THE HOUSE! TALK ABOUT AN EXCLUSIVE!

It’s the kind of visit that most media outlets can only dream of but today HM. Queen Elizabeth II popped into the BBC Studios in London.

The Duke of Edinburgh had been expected to attend, but was admitted to hospital on Thursday for an operation.

During her visit the Queen toured the BBC’s newsroom, dropped in on Radio 1’s Live Lounge, and delivered a short speech during a live Radio 4 programme to mark the occasion. It’s been a busy week for Queen Elizabeth, who celebrated 60 years since her Coronation this week with a service at Westminster Abbey. One can only hope that her husband The Duke of Edinburgh makes a speedy recovery soon and together they head over to NBC or CNN in New York!
