PHIL RAMONE DIES IN A NEW YORK HOSPITAL.

Music producer and engineer Phil Ramone, and winner of 14 Grammys, died this morning in a New York hospital. There is immediate details of a cause of death but he was admitted to the hospital for an aortic aneurysm. Ramone’s collaboration credits are a Who’s Who of the music industry: Burt Bacharach, Bono, Ray Charles, Bob Dylan, Aretha Franklin, Quincy Jones, Madonna, Paul McCartney, Paul Simon, Frank Sinatra and Stevie Wonder, to name a few. Aretha Franklin reacting to the news of her dear friend is said to be devastated.
