Vice President Joe Biden maybe starting his 2016 bid early. Biden made a surprise visit to St. Patrick’s Cathedral on Palm Sunday and got a big welcome from Cardinal Timothy Dolan. “We welcome the vice president of the United States, Mr. Biden, we welcome him here,” Dolan told the congregation gathered to celebrate the start of Holy week. “You have a place in our thoughts and prayers.”
Literally thousands of people packed the standing room only mass, Dolan’s first since he returned from the conclave in Rome. Many had walked in off the streets to get a glimpse of Biden who has yet to announce whether he will run for office in 2016. We will just have to wait and see.
