He is known by some as a web icon but to police as a cold- blooded murderer. Now following a lengthy manhunt this man known as “Kai”, has been charged with the murder of Joseph Galfy a man he met last weekend in Times Square.
Kai whose real name is Caleb McGillvary met Galfy in Times Square on Saturday and by Monday Joseph Galdy was murdered after being bludgeoned.
Galfy’s body was found Monday, after co-workers reported he failed to show up for work.
It is a strange about turn for Kai who first made headlines as “The hatchet wielding hitchhiker.’and became an internet sensation. He even landed a guest spot on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”
Police found McGillvary in Philadelphiia after a lengthy search. He was considered armed and dangerous but is now in police custody facing murder charges.
