Having given back the Papal red shoes and spent his first weekend at The Vatican’s summer residence,Emeritus Pope Benedict XVI is now apparently settling in comfortably.
Benedict is also wearing loafers given to him on his last trip to Mexico.
Meanwhile with the Sede Vacante in Rome, Vatican State has released Four Stamps for this period as well as commemorative coins which will be available until the chair of Peter is filled. Both the stamps and coins are expected to be much sought after items for this historical moment in Vatican history.
Dean of the college of Cardinals, Cardinal Sodano meanwhile, has summoned the cardinals for a Monday meeting. There is still no word as to when the Conclave will begin but Vatican insiders believe this will be a smooth transition.
