KOCH: GENEROUS IN LIFE AND IN DEATH! YOU ARE DOIN GREAT ED!
Even in death former Mayor Ed Koch is still giving. In his will just made public, he bestowed $100,000 to his former secretary Mary Garrigan, and $500,000 to his sister Pat Thaler. Court papers revealed his net worth at over 10.5 Million. The former Mayor who always asked “How am I doin?”also gave $100,000 to the La Guardia and Wagner Educational Fund to create a program bearing his name to promote public and government service. Enough to make New Yorkers smile every time we pass over the 59th Street Bridge which is named after him. Thanks Ed you are still doin great!
