Former first daughter Chelsea Clinton says it’s time for a woman in the Oval Office and we say why not you? While Chelsea’s Mother Hillary Clinton has said she may not be running again surely like mother like daughter Chelsea would be a good candidate?
Already voted person of the week by Ask a New Yorker Chelsea in an interview on MSNBC’s “NOW with Alex Wagner” was asked about getting a woman elected president.
Chelsea said: “We need women who are at the head of a boardroom, like at the head of the White House, at the head of kind of major scientific enterprises so that little girls everywhere can then think, you know what? I can do that, I want to do that, I will do that.”
She also added that her mother Hillary Clinton is planning to continue tweeting, but that her mom is still a bit too stiff for Twitter. Well we like Hilllary’s Tweets anyway.
Chelsea says: “She still like treats them all with this like a great kind of, you know, so much thought goes into them,” said Chelsea Clinton. “I think that’s so sweet, as her daughter, because everything that she’s ever done in her life has been so kind of deliberate and intentional and full of so much energy and effort. But I hope she can also relax a little bit and enjoy the cadence of Twitter, of…just responding to things.” So mother or daughter you decide between you but you would both be candidates from new York and we endorse you!
