HIGH ON THE BRIDGE!

A security contractor assigned to the George Washington Bridge to guard against a terror attack, and with access to restricted areas has been arrested for allegedly smoking pot on the job. Port authority Police officers patrolling the bridge smelled what they thought was marijuana, and asked the privately contracted security guard what it was? Sam Omar told cops it was a skunk, and that’s why they found him spraying air freshener in the booth. While the smell may have been from a skunk, when officers searched the booth they just happened to find a half smoked marijuana cigarette, and bag of the substance. Could it be the skunk had a drug problem?

The guard identified as Sam Omar was arrested, charged with drug possession, and being under the influence of a controlled substance. The offending skunk meanwhile apparently got away.
