The world is in a mess and the fact that Victoria Beckham could be voted Woman Of The Decade at last night’s Glamour Awards ceremony doesn’t help matters. What type of role models are we promoting here?

Now maybe she once sang a few catchy numbers. Certainly not Opera style, and maybe more recently she has become a good designer but Woman of the decade?

Okay even if this was a Brit centric award from Glamour Magazine what about HM, The Queen or even Kate Middleton?

There has to be some other contenders. Don’t you think?

At least Victoria had the good sense to once name her son after a slice of New York. As she accepted the award she made reference to the lad who accompanied her to the ceremony.

She said: “Thank you Brooklyn, the best looking man in the room tonight, for being my date.”

Well if the award was for giving great names to children she would most definitely qualify but woman of the decade? We aren’t quite buying that!
