Alina Tsarnaev, the sister of the Boston Marathon Bombing suspects Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev, who lives in West New York, is shocked by what has happened. “I’m hurt for everyone that’s been hurt.” She said. Within minutes of Dzhokhar surrendering to authorities in Watertown, Mass, West New York Mayor Felix Roque arrived at Alina Tsardsaev’s apartment, and asked the press to give the family some privacy. “This is a grieving process. It is very sad,” he said. “I’m looking at the human side and it’s not easy.” Speaking to reporters Alina Tsarnaev said: “I’m sorry for the families that lost their loved ones, the same way I lost a loved one … This is very hurtful,” she said. When asked by the media if she was “okay. her response was quite understandable.” “No I’m not okay. No one is okay right now,” she said. Tsarnaev says she hadn’t seen her brothers in “a long time. But described her dead brother Tamerlan as “an amazing child.” She said: “He was a great person,” she said. “I thought I knew him. I never would have expected that from him.
