Jimmy Fallon has won the “Tonight” show war for now but Leno is still the most popular guy for the job. That’s according to our readers . “Congratulations Jimmy” was Leno’s reaction, who will continue to host the show until Fallon takes over in 2014. “Tonight” is also rumored to be New York bound. This war for late night TV however may not be over as Insiders admit that a lot can happen in a year and Leno should not be underestimated as the ultimate late night comeback man. Certainly Leno’s ability to amuse will not disappear with the Fallon take over. Leno says he will be returning to stand up. There is also the possibility he will be picked up by another Network. With lines like: “The latest rumor according to the Italian press, is that Pope Benedict did not retire, they say he was forced out by NBC.” and “President Obama’s approval ratings are so low now, Kenyans are accusing him of being born in the US.” Leno will continue to inspire and amuse audiences where ever he finds a home.
